Emzor Starts Operation in Sierra Leone

Emzor Pharmaceuticals Industries Limited , the first indigenous pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Nigeria recently opened its distribution outlet in Sierra Leone. A five man team led by the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the company, Chief Stella Okoli paid a courtesy visit to his Excellency Ernest Bai Koroma the President of Sierra Leone at the State House in Freetown.

During the presentation, the Managing Director of the company, Chief Stella Okoli stated that "we are here for Sierra Leoneans to have access to quality and affordable drugs and that Emzor's products meet international standard". The President of Sierra Leone, His Excellency Ernest Bai Koroma, in his remark promised his blessing and assistance.

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Emzor Pharmaceuticals in her remark at the Ministry of Health stated that "Emzor Pharmaceuticals has capable personnel to manufacture, manage and distribute pharmaceutical products in all government and private hospitals there by spreading unlimited wellness".

She stated that in the near future Emzor's factory will be established in the country which will provide jobs and quality drugs for the good people of Sierra Leone. The Minister of Health and Sanitation, Dr Saccoh Kabia thanked the Managing Director and her team for coming to establish their presence especially at this time when the country is at the point of rebuilding her health sector. He further stated that, they are interested in partnering with this pharmaceutical giant, since our partnership will impact a lot on the people of Sierra Leone.
