EMZOR PRESENTS SCHOLARSHIPS TO 20 UNN STUDENTS

Twenty pharmacy students of University of Nigeria Nsukka of Enugu state origin were recently awarded Emzor scholarships worth one hundred thousand naira each with the governor of Enugu state, His Excellency Sullivan Chime in attendance.The Managing Director and Chief Executive officer Emzor Pharmaceutical, Chief Stella Okoli in her Speech stated that the company is here to keep the promise made last year to provide 20 pharmacy students of Enugu State origin studying at the University of Nigeria Nsukka scholarship awards.
According to her, it is a way to show appreciation to the University for the great work in raising high quality professionals. Majority of the company's pharmacists are product of UNN and their input to the company shows that they are well trained. Emzor sees this as an opportunity to assist in the onerous task of capacity building.
"For students selected, our involvement will go beyond handing over the cheques to them. The company will be pleased to receive from the ministry of Education and the Faculty of pharmacy quarterly reports on the progress of these students", she stated.
She thanked the Honourable Commissioner for Education of Enugu state, Mrs. Ndidi Chukwu for her follow up to make this day happen. Also the vice chancellor, University of Nigeria and the Dean of the faculty of pharmacy, Professor Sebastine Ofoefula for putting up the selection criteria and most importantly for the job of raising tomorrow's leaders.
His Excellency, Sullivan Chime the governor of Enugu state, thanked Emzor pharmaceuticals for her contribution in supporting education in the state and providing quality healthcare.
