The kids also had a time out with the Managing Director, Dr (Mrs.) Stella Okoli. In all, the Children had a swell time, and hoped to come around soon again.

The fair toured Lagos (Island and Mainland) Abuja, Port-Harcourt. Over 100 of Nigeria’s top nursery, primary, secondary and 6th form schools, as well as leading universities and educational products/services providers attended the event.

Emzor’s Wellness Club was well-represented at the event meeting with representatives from 200 top schools in the region.

The actual event kicked off at 12noon with participants taking turns to discuss and consult with medical practioners on their health concerns. Prescriptions were made and drugs were dispensed accordingly using drugs provided by the company such as Emzolyn cough syrup (child and adult) , Lokmal combi, Emzoron tonic Para 96 tabs, e.t.c. A mass deworming exercise for both children and adults was carried out simultaneously, using the Zolat X1000 jar.

Emzor roll-up banners for Lokmal combi, Lokmal QS, Zemeth, ORS and Para96 were all conspicuously displayed at strategic points within the venue. At the end of the day, over 200 children and adults present were dewormed while caplets were dispensed in envelops for persons and children who could not make it to the event with instructions on how it should be administered.

We rounded off the exercise at exactly 3:30pm after a successful outing.

THEME: Globalization and Culturalization: the modern family dilemma.

The event kicked off at 10:00am as scheduled despite the heavy downpour and was well attended. Amongst the participants were school heads and proprietors of schools, stakeholders in the church, parents and students drawn from various secondary schools within the district.

The guest speaker spoke on how the advent of globalization (with special emphasis on social media) was gradually eroding ideal family values and how the out-sourcing of the upbringing of our young ones was stealthily breaking family bonds. It was a wake-up call for parents to assume their rightful place in the lives of their young ones and not allow the media (globalization) to overtake their roles. There was an interactive session afterwards in which questions and comments were entertained.

Other highlights of the event were dance performances by students, award presentations to outstanding lectors and renditions by both the students and various church groups.

We had roll-up banners conspicuously displayed and were given a stand which we used to display some products. Also, promo items given (exercise books and biros) were used as part of the registration items for participants. Some participants also took time out to visit our stand and interact with us. Other companies were also represented at the event.
